This program is tailored for voluntary and faith sector groups committed to making a positive impact through understanding the impact of trauma of those we work with and wish to support.

Level 1 Trauma Awareness:  Places & Spaces Learning Aims:

  1. Understanding the intersection of trauma and mental health.
  2. Exploring the impact of childhood trauma on the developing brain.
  3. Delving into behavior and attachment dynamics.
  4. Unpacking the relationship between trauma and resilience.
  5. Strategies for creating trauma-informed spaces and workplaces
  6. Promoting workplace support and self-care.

By completing this program, you'll gain the confidence to navigate complex behaviors often encountered when working with vulnerable groups. Upon finishing Level 1, you'll receive online access to all training materials and resources. Moreover, you'll be able to enroll in our Level 2 course, "Trauma-Informed Community Practitioner."
