This training aims to help voluntary and faith sector groups become Trauma Aware by providing you with training and on-going support.  

Our Level 1 Trauma Awareness Places & Spaces is a 3 hour course, spread over 3 weeks:

  • Wednesday July 4th
  • Wednesday July 11th
  • Wednesday July 18th

The aim of the training is to boost your confidence when it comes to understanding trauma and working with vulnerable groups. After you have attended the Trauma Awareness Level 1 Training you will gain online access on all teaching materials and resources, from there you will also be able to join our Level 2 course: Trauma Informed Community Practitioner

On the first Wednesday of the month from 11.00am-12.00pm you’ll be able to join our community of best practice, where we can think together to support ongoing issues and areas of development.

Trauma Awareness Places and Spaces has been developed by Greater Manchester Together and will be delivered by Rach Horne Mental Health Development Coordinator and trainee Art Psychotherapist.
